ISMS Policy

Our company’s objective of managing information security is to ensure that our core and supporting business operaitons continue to operate with minumum distruptions. SIM Systems shall guarantee that all relevant information are managed and stored with appropriate information security procedures.

Information takes many forms and includes data stored on computers, transmitted across networks, printed out or written on paper, sent by fax, stored on mobile devices and DVD’s, or spoken in conversation and over the telephone.

The purpose of the ISMS Policy is to protect the our company’s information assets from all threats, whether internal or external, deliberate or accidental.
The information assets shall be protected through the three components of security.

- Confidentiality; is a set of rules that limits access to information,
- Integrity; is the assurance that the information is trustworthy and accurate,
- Availability; is a guarantee of reliable access to the information by authorized people.

SIM Systems remains compliant to relevant business, national and international laws.
All managers are directly responsible for implementing the ISMS Policy within their units, and for adherence by their staff.
Relevant and effective trainings are provided to staff. It is the responsibility of each member of staff to adhere to the ISMS Policy.
Information security is managed through SIM System’s Risk Management Methodology.
Business Continuity Management shall be implemented effectively to ensure continuity of business operations in the event of a crisis or disaster.
The staff shall understand their roles and responsibilities in handling incidents.
